Mon travail consiste en la recherche d’une abstraction du corps humain. L’idée est de construire un mouvement, sur la base rythmique de segments anatomiques. Dans cette démarche, j’utilise l’anatomie comme matière première. Il n’y a pas de sens psychologique dans mes œuvres.
L’enjeu de la série « Catharsis » est de construire un mouvement, indépendamment de la posture du personnage. Il s’agit de construire un équilibre entre le haut et le bas du corps considéré comme un bloc de matière. Cette démarche investit l’imaginaire, qui d’après Bachelard, « veut saisir tout le réel et (…) trouve plus de réalité à ce qui se cache qu’à ce qui se montre ».

My work consists in the research of an abstraction of the human body. The idea is to build a movement, on the rhythmic basis of anatomical segments. In this approach, I use anatomy as raw material. There is no psychological meaning in my works. The challenge of the "Catharsis" series is to build a movement, independently of the posture of the character. It is a question of constructing a balance between the upper and lower partsof the body considered as a block of matter. This approach invests the imagination, which according to Bachelard, "wants to grasp all of reality and (...) finds more reality in what is hidden than in what is shown".

Meine Arbeit besteht in der Suche nach einer Abstraktion des menschlichen Körpers. Die Idee ist, eine Bewegung auf der rhythmischen Basis von anatomischen Segmenten zu konstruieren. In diesem Prozess verwende ich die Anatomie als Rohmaterial. Es gibt keine psychologische Bedeutung in meinen Werken. Die Herausforderung der Serie "Catharsis" besteht darin, eine Bewegung zu konstruieren, unabhängig von der Haltung der Figur. Es geht darum, ein Gleichgewicht zwischen dem Ober- und Unterkörper herzustellen, der als ein Block aus Materie betrachtet wird. Dieser Ansatz investiert in das Imaginäre, das laut Bachelard "das gesamte Reale erfassen will und (...) mehr Realität in dem findet, was sich verbirgt, als in dem, was sich zeigt".
