Ces colonnes sont façonnées dans la masse de vieilles poutres en chêne séculaire.
Elles s’inscrivent dans une démarche esthétique et réflexive de revalorisation de la matière. Coupes nettes, altérations et aspérités proposent le rendu définitif. Chaque pièce de bois est positionnée dans le sens de croissance de l’arbre. De formes simples, élémentaires, ces colonnes nous invitent à porter notre regard au-delà des cimes pour nous rappeler que nous appartenons à un Tout infiniment plus vaste que nous.

 Those pillars are manufactured in the body of ancient Oaktree. They are the result of an esthetic and reflexive approach of enhancing the matter. Sharp edges, changes and asperities in the matter get to the final result. Each piece of wood is positioned in the tree’s growth. Simple and basic shapes are inviting us to see beyond the top of these columns, and consider that we are all part of something much bigger than us.

Diese Säulen sind in einem jahrhundertalten Stück Eichenbalken gearbeitet. Sie sind Teil einer ästhetischen Vorgehens- und Denkweise, die die Materie aufwertet. Sauberer Schnitt, Veränderungen und Unebenheiten stellen das endgültige Resultat vor. Jedes Holzteil ist in der Richtung des Wachstums des Baums positioniert. Einfache, grundlegende Formen. Diese Säulen laden uns ein, unseren Blick weiter als die Berggipfel zu richten, um uns zu erinnern, das wir Teil von einem Ganzen sind, dass unendlich grösser ist als wir.
